7 months old!

Isaac is 7 months old on May, 14 2011!

Isaac at 7 months old (well, more like 7.5 months old since this post is so belated!):

Sleeping habits: Isaac sleeps around 12 hours at night and takes two 1.5 to 3 hour naps a day. We were having some major sleep issues with Isaac a few weeks ago but things have improved lately so maybe the sleep training is working! (Phew!) He still tends to fuss a little bit when we lay him down for naps and bedtime but usually goes right to sleep after a minute or two.

Motor skills:  Isaac can now roll over both directions equally well and he has completely mastered sitting up by himself.  He's been getting up on his knees and rocking back and forth in the last week so crawling is just around the corner.  Currently, he can scoot backwards and turn around in a circle.  He gets pretty frustrated with not being able to move forward though :)  And he just loves to stand up on his legs - boy is he strong!  If we aren't careful, he will try to flip his 20 pound self right out of our arms.

Eating habits: Isaac's food options have really expanded in the last 6 weeks as we have introduced all kinds of new fruits and veggies and even some meats into his diet. His current favorites seem to be sweet potatoes, squash, applesauce and mangoes.

He is just growing like a weed! He's already in 18 month sized clothing, having outgrown most of his 12 month stuff. I really have no idea what size he will be wearing this winter (maybe the same size as big sister!).

Our boy is no longer toothless as he is now the proud owner of two bottom teeth!  And those teeth are just so cute as you can see in this picture:

Language skills: Isaac has just recently decided that blowing raspberries is lots of fun and does it all the time, even when he's supposed to be eating!  I finally have a super cute video of him blowing raspberries that I'll be posting too.  He's also started babbling more and making cute "dada" and "nana" sounds. 

Isaac is just such a cute, fun little guy and we are so happy to have him in our lives :)
