Bathroom Makeover Part 2

We spent a good part of our Saturday repainting the upstairs bathroom.  I wanted to paint the bathroom a new color because we were tired of the pink and when we had the bathroom remodeled after our mold problem, the contractor repainted it for us and did a terrible job!

We had intended to start painting Friday night but we had dinner with Quan's family in Loveland and dropped Maddie off at their house for the night and it was already getting late by the time we left for home.  And then, when we were just minutes from our house, I drove over a bolt in the road and we ended up with a flat tire!  We had a super tired boy on our hands, who had not taken an afternoon nap and hadn't had a bottle in hours, and of course, this was the one time we decided not to bring a bottle!  Thankfully, Isaac had a good time watching Daddy change out the tire and playing with the car keys :)  Oh, and my poor hubby cut his finger changing out the flat tire.....

So here's the before and after:

The color is waaaay more bright and waaaay more yellow than I had envisioned it.  It's called "Celery Sticks" but there is nothing about it than even remotely reminds me of celery.  I don't exactly dislike the color (not enough to repaint it anyway, ha!) but I think I'm still getting used to it.  There are some good things about the color though.....

1.  It's not pink!
2.  It's such a bright and cheerful color that it really wakes me up in the morning
3.  Since it is such a bright color, it goes perfectly with what we have in the bathroom
4.  When I asked Maddie what she thought of the color, she touched the wall and said, "I liiiike it!"  So it's kid approved :)
