We have just been busy, busy, busy this summer, hence the total lack of blogging lately but we finally completed the nursery last weekend so I just had to share all the cuteness! :) I didn't want to totally redo everything but definitely wanted it to be more of a boy room instead of the neutral we've been doing since Maddie was born. Most everything I did pretty inexpensively and lots of stuff I made myself - lots of fun projects! So here it is:
Some pretty adorable prints from Etsy - I love how when baby boy outgrows this room, I can put these in his baby book. There are empty spaces for his birth announcement and handprint. And seriously, I cannot wait to take some pics of him wearing that little monkey hat! :)
The bear my mom bought for the little guy which will be used for his monthly pictures.
Mobile sewn by me - just some ribbon, an embroidery hoop and scrapbook paper punched in a circle. We had a mobile with a music box that attached to the crib for Maddie and Isaac but it broke so I decided to just make something fun instead.
Just waiting to fill that blue frame with a picture of our cutie and that little ultrasound frame has now held a picture of each of our children before birth!
My sweet husband helped with this little project by attaching chicken wire to the back of a frame for me. It gave him an excuse to buy a staple gun :) I saw this idea somewhere online and thought it was such a cute way to display keepsakes and pictures.
Probably my absolute favorite part of the room is this lantern collage! This is a super popular idea right now for kids rooms but I just love it!
I will be spending lots of hours in this spot in a couple of months! We picked this chair and ottoman set up for super cheap at a consignment store when I was pregnant with Isaac and I still love sitting in it!
A couple new blankies for little baby - you can probably guess which one Maddie picked out :)
Changing table - a couple of the baskets now hold the cutest teeny little diapers! I can't believe our kiddos were ever that small!
A paper banner that I sewed with some scrapbook paper and bias tape - super easy!
The closet is completely ready to go - one of the advantages of knowing the sex ahead of time. Most of the clothes is Isaac's but baby boy did get a couple of new things to call his own. I just love little baby clothes! So cute :)
And finally, the crib! I fell in love with the crib sheet when I first saw it online and it kind of became the inspiration for the whole room! I could not find a matching crib skirt anywhere so I decided to make one myself. It actually came out pretty well, I think!
So that is the grand tour of our little guy's room! I can't really take credit for most of the ideas since I got lots of inspiration from websites and Pinterest. Now we just have to wait about 2 months for little baby to make his appearance :)

Oh soooo cute, can't wait to meet your new little one. Really an adorable nursery!
