- Little daily blessings - a good cup of coffee (decaf!), enjoying a home cooked meal, spontaneous fun outings with the kids, finding something we need (or want) on sale and the brief couple of hours in the afternoon when the kids are peacefully napping and the house is quiet
- Our home - although I am often guilty of complaining about the lack of storage, our too small kitchen and the sad state of our yard, we are truly blessed to have a house that is just right for us at this stage in life
- Our puppy - she's already middle aged but she has been a faithful companion and friend for the last 6 years and a great playmate for the kids :)
- Our jobs - I have the unique opportunity to stay home with the kids but still work one weekend a month in order to stay current in my profession and Quan has a job he loves that more than adequately provides for our needs
- Our family and friends - we are surrounded by people that love and support us and they are pretty fun to hang out with too :)
- Our church - we are so blessed to have had a wonderful church home for the past 6 years in a place where we have learned so much and grown in our spiritual walks
- Our children - this is a big one! I am overwhelmed with gratitude for our two precious, healthy, amazing children. Sometimes they are driving me to the edge of my sanity but I've experienced such fullness and happiness and joy since they have become a part of my life
- My husband - I am married to someone who is a terrific partner and my very best friend. He makes me laugh, listens to my ramblings, encourages me, is a huge help with the kids and is just an all-around easy guy to be married to :)
- Above all else, I am thankful for a God who loves me and meets me where I am. A God who has redeemed me and given me hope and a future. My life truly has meaning and purpose because of what Christ did for me.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I'll leave you with these pictures of my Thanksgiving sweeties :)
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
His love endures forever.
Psalm 136:1

That was a wonderful post - I recognize that verse from the sermon on Wednesday :) I love you darling, and am thankful for many of the same things - I would just replace husband/he/guy with wife/she/girl - I tend to ramble as well ;) <3
