First Day Alone

My parents went back home 2 days ago (so sad!) so yesterday was my first day alone with all 3 kiddos.  I haven't even remotely attempted to go anywhere by myself with the kids yet - that would be insane!  But I thought we could at least go for a little walk around the neighborhood to get some fresh air and exercise.  Maddie and Isaac tend to get crabby in the hour or so before lunch so I though the change in scenery would help.  In the 5 minutes or so before we were going to leave, Maddie pooped in the potty and both her and the potty needing cleaning.  Then Caleb starts crying and he has a really messy diaper that takes awhile to clean up.  I attempt to put a playlist on my iPod for the walk and end up having to talk with Quan for 10 minutes to troubleshoot issues with iTunes (really hate iTunes!).  Meanwhile, Maddie and Isaac get into a fight on the stairs (why is it always on the stairs?) and they both get a time out.  Whew!  So about half hour later, we are finally ready to leave.  And I had thought we were doing really well since prior to this we were all dressed and I had actually taken a shower!  We ended up having a nice time outside and Caleb even slept in the carrier for the first time!  Having 3 kids 3 and under is definitely not for the faint of heart, I will say that!  But I know in a few years it will be a blast :)
