Maddie dressed up as a ladybug (no surprise there!) and Isaac was a dragon. I got the kids into their costumes in the morning and we visited Daddy at work. We then spent the rest of the morning at a local farm that had a pumpkin patch. We didn't actually venture into the field of pumpkins since the recent storm had made the ground muddy and frozen all the pumpkins. However, we did see some animals and take some cute pictures! Maddie picked out two little pumpkins to take home - "an orange one for Maddie and a white one for Isaac" - as she says.
For dinner, the kids ate Halloween Mac & Cheese and basically devoured the entire box! And then Maddie helped us hand out candy to all the trick-or-treaters. After the kids were finally in bed Quan and I relaxed and watched the first Twilight movie together.
Special Cookie Monster pumpkin for our Sesame Street lovin' girl! And yes, his cookie is turned sideways - whoops!
Even Lucy was in costume - she felt pretty undignified though!
Maddie's Halloween treat basket - the Hello Kitty stuff was actually mine from a few years ago but it was new to Maddie and she loved it!
