The cake was quite the labor of love and involved a failed cake pan attempt and failed brownie attempt as well. We were just using mixes since we assumed that would be easier but everything kept sticking to the pan! But in the end, it turned out pretty cute and Maddie was thrilled with her cake! She supervised some of the frosting work that Daddy did for her - it was funny how she kept making sure that Quan knew what colors to use and if he had made any mistakes. This girl knows her cars :)
We served all of Maddie's favorite foods - mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, fruit, carrots and cucumbers, Cheetos, juice and of course, cake!
Maddie had a blast playing with her friends and although we were all tired from such a big day, we had so much fun putting together a special day for our special 3 year old!
