Love, Laughter and Lots of Grace: Three and Thirty-Three

Quan and Maddie had a very special shared birthday this year - lots of yummy food, presents and time with our families!

We started a new tradition of pancakes and balloons as a fun birthday morning surprise. PaPa made Lightening McQueen pancakes with our new molds!

Maddie has been wanting a Thomas balloon every time we go to the party store so she was pretty excited when she saw this guy :)

This is the face we usually get when we ask her to smile - goofy girl!

We didn't leave Quan out - he got a special breakfast of cinnamon pancakes (the normal shape), sausage and fried eggs.

After church, we attempted to get some birthday pictures - here are some of my favorites:

I didn't take the time to edit any of these but once I do, I think we will be framing some of them! Loving our new camera :)

We also tried to take some shots outside but it was just too bright and neither kid would look at the camera. Here's one of the best ones we took of the birthday girl:

Maddie's dress was made by me for her birthday and I thought she looked pretty cute in it! I was going to make a matching vest and bowtie for Isaac but ran out of time - maybe for Father's Day?

In case you were wondering, this is what Isaac was doing while Maddie was playing with her new toys. Don't worry, he's all boy!

We had Quan's family over for dinner and the birthday boy requested steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, Caesar salad with homemade dressing and turtle chocolate cheesecake for dessert. It was quite the amazing meal!
