Memaw PaPa Visit

We have had a crazy busy month with my mom being here for the majority of it and my dad for the past week or so.  They left for Florida on Tuesday and we are missing them like crazy but looking forward to a relaxing, low-key summer!  So here is a summary of their visit, which included quite the list of milestones and first time experiences!

We visited IKEA three, yes THREE times in a month and came home with a new dresser for our bedroom, Maddie's big girl bed, some big boy bedding for Isaac (which he loves!), sheets for our bed and various odds and ends.

For the first time in a pregnancy, we found out the sex of our baby (a boy!), which has been weird and maybe a little disappointing to no longer have the anticipation but also such a relief to be able to really plan ahead this time.  Let's just say that major nursery planning is in the works!

Memaw survived watching both kiddos overnight by herself for the very first time while Quan and I got away for a couple of days, more on that later! :)

Isaac had his very first visit to the Harley store with PaPa and was pretty intrigued by all the motorcycles.

Maddie got to go on her very first shopping spree at the Disney store, her birthday gift from Memaw and PaPa.  We came home with lots of cars and a singing Tangled doll!

Isaac managed to escape his crib for the first time.  Quite the morning surprise for Daddy!

We bought a brand new and much larger kiddie pool for the kids and they tried it out for the first time last week - it has been a hit!

Overall, it was a super fun visit and I have much more to share so for now this is just a mini-update :)
