4 months old!

Isaac is 4 months old on February 14, 2011!

At 4 months Isaac is:

Measuring 16 lbs. 12 oz. (90th percentile) and 27 inches long (97 percentile).  Basically, he is a really BIG boy!  He's already wearing 9 month sized clothing.

Generally takes 3 naps a day - one in the morning, one in the afternoon and one in the early evening.  Goes to bed around 9pm and sleeps until 7:30am (Yay for sleeping through the night!)

Eating rice cereal.  We're not sure if he likes it yet but he seems to be willing to eat it.  He loves to put his fists in his mouth while we feed the cereal to him so he usually ends up getting cereal all over his face and hands.  Pretty cute!

Attempting to roll over.  He can get up onto his side pretty well but then he doesn't know what to do once he gets there!  Of course it will be no small feat for him to roll his chubby self over but we think he'll figure it out in the next month or so.

Loves to give us lots of cute smiles!  I think he gives the biggest smiles to Maddie and the dog.  He also recently started giggling when we blow raspberries at him.

Makes the cutest cooing and squealing sounds.  He loves to "talk" to us when we play with him.

Grabbing at all sorts of things.  He can grab the toys hanging down from his playmat and sometimes gets really wild with those toys!  He'll grab at just about anything he can get his hands on - clothing, my hair, blankets, the dog.

Overall, a really sweet baby!  As long as he's fed, changed and not overtired, Isaac is a pretty content, laid back little guy.  And we just love him to pieces!

We've been taking monthly pictures of Isaac with a stuffed bear that we picked out for him just a few days before he was born to see how he grows throughout the year.  I may post the previous months at some point but for now, here are the earlier month pictures for comparison:
