Valentine's Day!

Yes, I am blogging about Valentine's Day two weeks after the fact but I really wanted to include this post (and some cute pictures of the kids).  I was home with the kids during the day and we didn't really do anything special with the exception of taking Isaac's 4 month pictures in the morning.

Usually I try to cook something special for Quan and I on Valentine's Day but with two little ones this year, we opted for Subway sandwiches (taking advantage of their free cookie offer :D).  After dinner, Maddie got a special puppy dog cookie lollipop from Mommy and Daddy and she would have devoured it in one sitting if we had let her!

After we put the kids to bed for the evening, Quan and I had some time to ourselves and we watched Valentine's Day (appropriate, huh?).  I'm pretty sure that is the first movie we've watched at home together since Isaac was born!   

Last but not least:

This is my Valentine gift from my sweetie!  Being the science nerd that I am, this is even more romantic than a dozen roses.  This guy really gets me :D
