5 months old!

Isaac is 5 months old on March 14, 2011!

At 5 months old Isaac:

Was not weighed and measured this month so we won't know how big he is until his 6 month checkup.

Has settled into a great sleeping schedule!  He has transitioned down to 2 naps a day, one morning nap lasting 2-3 hours and an afternoon nap lasting 1.5-2 hours.  Maddie and Isaac both go to bed around 8pm and wake up around 7:30am.  It has been so wonderful to have them both on the same schedule!

Seems to really like rice cereal now and will eat 2-3 bowls a day!

Still hasn't rolled over yet but he has gotten really close a couple of times.  It looks like he will probably roll over from his tummy to his back first (Maddie learned how to roll over from back to tummy first). 

Learned how to grab his feet just last week! 

Back and neck muscles are getting pretty strong!  He can lift his head up really well when he is on his tummy and can sit up with some support.  We have started putting him in the jumpy chair and he seems to really enjoy the new view.

 

This is probably one of my favorite baby stages.  Isaac is sleeping well, hardly ever fussy, loves to play and smile and coo at us.  And he's not mobile enough yet to be getting into trouble!

I took these pictures, wrote this post and I am going to publish it all in the same day (Isaac's actual 5 month birthday)!  But a little boy is waking up from his nap so I better get moving!
