Totally random blog post...

I mentioned to Quan the other night that I had written 3 blog posts (which are still currently sitting as drafts, although probably not anymore if you are actually reading this!).  And he asks me what I've been blogging about, so I tell him.  His response, "I thought you would be doing more random, stream of consciousness type posts".  Me?  Type-A, perfectionist, totally non-spontaneous me?  For a moment I think my husband forgot who he is married to.  Well, here's a semi-random, spontaneous post just for you Honey!

1.  I am totally loving that it is finally March!  Just when I think I can't take another moment of dreary winter weather, springtime is around the corner.  I can't wait to consume large quantities of fresh (and in season!) fruit (Maddie's looking forward to this to), wearing capris and sandals, taking walks to the park and getting the kiddos decked out in their adorable swim gear and playing in the baby pool.  Speaking of summertime, I should probably put away the rest of our Christmas decorations.  Yes people, there is still a nativity set up in our living room!  Oh well, at least we put the tree away :D

  2.  Funny little Maddie story from last week.  I've been trying to get the hang of using Picasa lately to manage our pictures.  I've used it some in the past but after my albums, that I had painstakingly created, were deleted after yet another computer rebuild (Quan felt really bad about this one!), I kind of gave up on the whole thing.  It has this face scanning feature that Quan and I were looking at the other night and it was kind of fun to see all these pictures of people we know.  "Hey there's a picture of my mom...there's Maddie as a baby...that's us when we were first married...and hey.........what's this doing in here?"

Yes, in Picasa's strange little mind this Storm Shadow action figure is a person.  We starting cracking up when we saw this.  Maddie was laughing too just because we were laughing.  Then I proceed to tell Quan that I've been having some issues getting our picture folders to upload into Picasa and he tells me, "I think Picasa may have a bug".  So Maddie points at the computer screen and says, "Caca.....bug!".  And we cracked up even more.  It's so funny what comes out of her mouth sometimes!

3.  I was reminded last week what a pain it is to be sick and being sick with little ones to look after is the absolute worst!  But I was also reminded of how wonderful it is to have a sweet husband who will bring home soup and ginger ale and help put the kiddos to bed .

a little Angelina Ballerina isn't going to hurt once in awhile :D
